Your committee met on October 5th 2021. The 2 main topics for discussion were ticket and travel prices, and social events. For social events, the member surveys were assessed and the it was agreed that Julie and Maxine would try to organise the most popular suggestions during the season. For tickets and travel, it was noted that due to a big hike in hire costs we cannot cover our costs on current pricing - even with a full 32 seat coach. The situation is not sustainable long term, but current arrangements will continue until Christmas before being reviewed again with a view to increasing travel fees. The full minutes are available to members on request - contact Mark.
This season's renewal processing is now complete. All members should be in possession of their new membership cards and pen. If you haven't had yours, contact the club secretary - thanks.
The committee met on Weds August 11th, mainly to discuss ticket and travel for the coming season. This is proving difficult due to increased coach and mini bus prices, plus lower demand for tickets from members. More details will be emailed out direct to members.

ARSENAL AND THE EUROPEAN SUPER LEAGUE
We invited members to express an opinion on Arsenal's plans to participate in the proposed European Super League. The issue generated 102 responses in the first 24 hours, and when the vote closed the result was 96% votes against, 4% unsure/too early and 0% in favour.
The passion and anger came across loud and clear. The result and the depth of feeling were communicated to the Arsenal executive. Thank you to all members who took time to respond.
